ISO 14001 Environmental Certificate – 12th July 2017

We are very pleased to announce that we have just received The ISO 14001 certification for our commitment and hard work in the preservation of the environment. This globally recognised standard is awarded to businesses and maps out a framework that a company or organisation can follow to set up an effective environmental management system.

In achieving the ISO 14001 certification, Sustain has proved that we meet the high standards and expectations set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) to protect the environment.

We  take pride in reducing the environmental impact we have on the world and in the successful acquisition of the ISO 14001 standard that dedication has been validated. In order to achieve certification, we had to demonstrate a systematic approach to environmental management and show dedication to sustainable development.

Sustain Director and Environmental Champion, Adam Barwell, said: ”We see the attainment of ISO 14001 as an important aspect of our ‘continual improvement’ workplan and also a way of demonstrating our strong commitment to the community we live and work in”.

The QMS consultant who worked with us said “Sustain demonstrated to QMS that they are determined to reduce their business’ environmental footprint, seek to ethically source resources, strive to manage waste effectively through recycling, responsibly address pollution concerns”
